The DPA supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy where applicable.
Roles of the Parties
Customers act as the data controller for the personal information they submit to VirtuaChat, while VirtuaChat acts as the data processor when processing that information on the customer's behalf.
Each party remains responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws relevant to its role.
Processing Activities
VirtuaChat processes customer data only to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the services requested by the customer, or as otherwise instructed by the customer where permitted by law.
Processing may include storage, retrieval, transmission, AI-powered analysis, and generation of requested outputs.
Security Measures
We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect customer data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure.
Security controls are regularly reviewed and updated as our services evolve.
Subprocessors
VirtuaChat may engage trusted subprocessors to provide hosting, infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, customer support, and other operational services.
We take reasonable steps to ensure subprocessors are contractually required to protect customer data appropriately.
Data Retention and Deletion
Customer data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain platform security.
Upon account deletion or termination, data may be deleted according to our retention policies unless longer retention is required by law.
International Data Transfers
Where data is transferred across borders, VirtuaChat implements appropriate safeguards designed to support applicable data protection requirements.
